Winning championships is great, but what happens on the way there is what stays with us forever. We want to hear about the moments that brought a tear to your eye, gave you goosebumps, or made you incredibly proud to be part of this game.
Is there an athlete who just broke through a massive slump after months of extra cuts? A player who refused to give up while battling back from a devastating injury? A coach who stayed late just to make sure one kid felt seen? Or a parent quietly lifting up the entire team from behind the scenes?
If someone in your circle has overcome adversity, performed when everything was on the line, or simply shown the true definition of heart—we want to capture it and share it with the world.

Bill Hoopes is a coach, entrepreneur, and dedicated advocate for youth athlete development. As the founder of Lead Your Journey and partner at FL PGF, Bill has dedicated his career to building environments where young athletes can thrive both on and off the field. From coaching teams to national championship victories in Colorado to developing high-performance workbooks and training apps, his mission has always extended far beyond the final score.
Bill launched the Local Town Heroes initiative to give a loud, well-deserved microphone to the parents, coaches, teammates, and community members who bring the true heart and soul to youth sports every single weekend.
“I’ve spent years watching youth sports from the dirt, the dugouts, and the stands. The trophies are great, but the stories of grit, comebacks, and character are what change lives forever." — Bill Hoopes
